Latest planning update
In May 2016, Warrington Borough Council’s Planning Committee passed a resolution to grant planning permission for Zone 6 (new homes) and Zones 3, 4, 5 and 6E (retail, leisure, community uses and potentially new homes).

This includes the Consultation Statement, the Design and Access Statement, Transport Assessment, Planning Statement and Environmental Impact Assessment. In May 2015, Warrington Borough Council approved a planning application for a new primary school on Omega South. Construction is now complete and the new school is part of a wider strategy to deliver more school places to serve Warrington West, including the future residential community on Omega. It is providing a larger home for Barrow Hall Primary School which relocated there in time for a new school year in September 2016.
