Offices

Office space has always been an important element of the Omega business offer and an opportunity for the growth of the Warrington economy. That is why outline planning consent was sought and achieved for 1.5m sq ft of office space on Omega South in 2007.

Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL) is working with its agents to market the office space in response to the market with phased development to meet demand.

Skyline Drive, the new Omega South access road off junction 8 of the M62 will open up opportunities for office occupiers.

Why is Omega no longer mainly offices?

Whilst the office market across the UK has seen difficult times during the recession, the vision for Omega South is still to provide high quality office buildings situated within a thriving business community and high quality landscaped setting. However, large-scale modern business environments now demand a variety of uses (i.e. not just other businesses as neighbours but homes, retail and leisure etc.) to make them attractive to occupiers in the long term.

Omega is responding to the change in demand since the recession to ensure it provides what businesses want and can secure jobs for local people in the long-term. A purely office development for Omega South is no longer a realistic proposition.

What type of office development will it be?

Due to its strategic NW location, Omega offers occupiers a high quality commercial location for leading regional, national and European corporate firms. Office space at Omega will provide for major corporate relocations either in a single building or campus typically across 2 to 3 storeys. The office buildings will be of the highest quality design and will sit within a landscaped environment offering the perfect location to live, work and play.

What about jobs?

Warrington remains a key business destination within the UK due to its access to a highly skilled mobile labour pool which has attracted numerous international occupiers who see the location as the right destination for their business.
